Suffolk

Ipswich
Is one of England´s oldest towns, thought to be the first of the "new towns"  formed by the Angles at the end of the Roman occupation.
One of the towns most prominent areas is the arboritum where Christchurch Mansion can be found,dating back to 1548 it is a beautiful example of Tudor architecture. This houses a superb art collection, including the best collection of works by Constable and Gainsborough held outside London.

Other attractions include Ipswich museum and Ipswich transport museum.

River trips from the town´s renewed waterfront take visitors on the beautiful River Orwell, and the history of the town is brought to life with regular walking tours.
